Poonch Road Accident: Four Injured as Passenger Vehicle Skids Off Road in Chaktro

Poonch, Jan 8:In a Poonch road accident, four persons, including a woman, were injured after a passenger vehicle skidded off the road in the Chaktro area of Mandi tehsil in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district on Thursday morning.

Details of the Accident

Officials said the passenger vehicle, bearing registration number JK12-1245, was travelling from Mandi towards Poonch when the driver lost control at a sharp bend near Chaktro. The vehicle subsequently skidded off the road, resulting in injuries to four occupants.

Rescue Efforts and Medical Aid

Meanwhile, local residents rushed to the spot and immediately informed the police. With the assistance of locals and police personnel, the injured were evacuated from the vehicle and shifted to District Hospital Poonch for treatment.

Hospital authorities said all the injured are undergoing medical care and their condition is stated to be stable.
