Jammu schools reopening has been officially confirmed to begin on January 12, 2026. All government and private schools in the Summer Zone will resume classes as per the scheduled academic calendar, with no extension of winter holidays۔
Officials stated that teachers are already on duty and have been instructed to report to their respective schools on Saturday. Students are expected to resume classes from January 12 according to the existing academic calendar. This ensures that the academic year stays on track without any disruption.
This clarification comes in response to baseless reports suggesting that winter holidays could be extended due to prevailing weather conditions. Authorities have dismissed these claims and urged parents, teachers, and students to rely only on official government updates.
