DSEJ teachers withdrawal Jammu: Jammu, January 7: The Directorate of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) has issued a strict directive for the immediate detachment of all teachers currently assigned to Chief Education Officer (CEO) and Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) offices. The move aims to ensure that educators focus solely on teaching and classroom responsibilities, reinforcing the quality of education in schools across the region.
According to the official order, any teacher found performing administrative or clerical duties in CEO or ZEO offices must be relieved immediately and sent back to their original school postings. The directive further warns that failure to comply may result in salary suspension and disciplinary action.
The DSEJ emphasized that teachers’ primary role is instructional, and their deployment in administrative offices negatively impacts school functioning, particularly in areas already facing shortages of teaching staff.
Education officials described the measure as a necessary step to strengthen discipline, optimize teacher deployment, and improve educational outcomes in Jammu’s schools.
