The confiscated asset comprises 10 kanals and 14 marlas of land in Tehsil Mendhar, District Poonch, with an estimated market value of approximately ₹22.05 lakh. The property is owned by Abdul Aziz, son of Ahmadah Lon, a fugitive known for orchestrating anti-national activities from Pakistani soil.

Abdul Aziz, who illegally crossed into Pakistan/PoK several years ago, has been implicated in multiple cases threatening India’s security. Police records indicate that the court had previously declared him a proclaimed offender, with sustained efforts to secure his arrest proving futile due to his evasion. Consequently, the judicial authority mandated the asset forfeiture as a proportional countermeasure.
Executing the order with precision, Poonch Police coordinated closely with the Revenue Department to complete all legal formalities, ensuring a transparent and lawful seizure.
