Poonch, January 26:The district headquarters of Poonch witnessed grand and well-organised celebrations of the 76th Republic Day at the Sports Stadium, Poonch, where the main official function was held amid a vibrant patriotic atmosphere.
The event was marked by discipline, enthusiasm and a strong sense of national pride.
Minister Javed Ahmed Rana Unfurls Tricolour
The Chief Guest, Minister Javed Ahmed Rana, unfurled the National Tricolour and took the salute at the ceremonial parade. With this, the Republic Day celebrations formally commenced in the district.
Senior officers of the district administration, police officials, public representatives, students and citizens attended the function in large numbers.
Address Highlights Constitutional Values
Addressing the gathering, Minister Javed Ahmed Rana extended warm greetings to the people on the occasion of Republic Day. He described the day as a cornerstone in India’s democratic history.
